Lo zoccolo delle pareti, ad alcune delle quali si addossano banchi in muratura, era dipinto in nero, la zona mediana in rosso e le nicchie, destinate alla custodia degli indumenti dei clienti erano dipinte in bianco.

74. Male Apoditerium (2): view towards E before the modern restoration of the vault; at the bottom the secondary entrance towards the vestibule (2a). The plinth of the walls, some of which are leaning against masonry benches, was painted black, the middle area in red and the niches, intended for the custody of customers' clothes were painted in white.
