35. Triclinio (h), parete E: quadro con Andromeda e Perseo in un disegno di A. Sikkard del 1879. La scena del mito, rappresentato numerosissime volte, deriva dall’originale di Nikias che, in altra scala, conosciamo dalla Casa dei Dioscuri (cfr. voi. IV, p. 975, fig. 224) con l’eroe che aiuta la giovinetta a scendere dalle rocce cui era legata. Una variazione apportata dal copista e nell’inclinazione del capo di Andromeda di solito rivolta verso Perseo. DAI R 53.531

35. Triclinium (h), wall E: painting with Andromeda and Perseus in a drawing by A. Sikkard of 1879. The scene of the myth, represented numerous times, derives from the original by Nikias which, in another scale, we know from the House of the Dioscuri (cf. vol. IV, p. 975, fig. 224) with the hero helping the girl to descend from the rocks to which she was tied. A change made by the copyist and in the inclination of the head of Andromeda usually facing Perseus. DAI R 53.531
